With tourism, traveling and social outings being postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, many people have been laid off until further notice or have had their regular earnings severely cut. However, several other companies who have seen a spike in their sales, such as pharmacies, grocery stores and delivery services, are realizing they do not have the people to keep up with the ever-growing demand. If you’re out of work and need a job until the pandemic settles, here are some companies that are hiring right now that can help you.

Amazon

Amazon is wanting to hire 100,000 people in their delivery and fulfillment centers across the U.S. They know this job is temporary and want to give people who are furloughed in the travel, restaurant and hospitality industries an opportunity to still make money during this crisis. ALDI is hiring for positions in their stores and their warehouses to keep the stores stocked and clean. You can apply here.

CVS

CVS is looking to hire 50,000 full-time, part-time and temporary workers during this crisis, with bonuses and benefits. During their hiring process, CVS is also implementing virtual interviews and job tryouts to limit as much contact as possible. Dollar Tree is hiring 25,000 people for their 15,000 stores and 24 distribution centers in the United States. They need cashiers and stockers, as well as equipment operators at its distribution centers. You can apply here.

Dominoes

Dominoes is trying to hire 10,000 more workers in response to the large amount of delivery orders they are receiving from people staying at home. This includes chefs, customer service, managers and delivery employees. You can apply here.

GE Healthcare

GE Healthcare needs more manufacturing employees for the increased demand in “ultrasound devices, mobile X-ray systems, patient monitors and ventilators”, all of which are needed to diagnose and treat COVID-19. You can apply here.

Instacart

Instacart is hiring 300,000 employees to meet the increasing demand for delivered groceries. This would currently double the company’s work force and all of those positions are full time shoppers. You can apply here.

PepsiCo

Pepsi is hiring 6,000 full-time employees in the next six months and offering enhanced benefits for workers at the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic. You can apply here.

Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut is hiring 30,000 employees and are expediting the hiring process so new employees can start working in as little as 5 hours. They are mostly looking for drivers for delivery, you can apply here.

Publix

Publix is hiring thousands of employees by the end of this month to meet increasing demands. They need people in the stores and distribution centers. You can apply here.

Walgreens

Walgreens is working on hiring 9,500 full-time and part-time workers, and they are offering bonuses. They announced that hotel workers that are furloughed from the crisis would be among many they would hire for the positions. You can apply here.

Walmart

Walmart is trying to hire 150,000 full-time, part-time and temporary positions in response to the crisis and the growing demand at their stores. They are offering cash bonuses to their employees during this time and need workers in the stores and the distribution centers. They are also expediting the hiring process so people can start working in as little as 24 hours. You can apply here.

Winn-Dixie

Winn-Dixie is hiring people who have been furloughed during the COVID-19 pandemic. They need people in for cashier, stocking and distribution positions. You can apply here.

7-Eleven

7-Eleven is hiring 20,000 people across the United States to meet the increasing demand from their customers. Most of the business is coming from their mobile app orders, and they need more people to help keep the stores in stock and clean. You can apply here.
